About Me

My professional background was for many years a mixture of sports massage, functional exercise and Pilates. This enabled me to help many people with physical issues. Having benefited hugely from Hypnotherapy for chronic pain, this led me to wanting to learn more. I realised that the mind is so important to physical and mental health and well-being and that Hypnotherapy can be really successful in treating a wide range of issues that people struggle with, including those affecting the body. I decided that this would be the natural progression for me to go forward in my career and the best way to continue to help people to heal and be their best selves. I trained with the Surrey Institute of Clinical Hypnotherapy and now practice at the Surrey Injury Clinic in Horley, which has specialists in a wide range of disciplines. I provide one-to-one sessions for anyone living in and around the area of Horley, including Gatwick, Reigate, Redhill, Crawley, Copthorne, Charlwood, Smallfield, Salfords, Woodhatch, Nutfield, Dorking and East Grinstead.

I can provide Clinical Hypnotherapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Talking Therapy to treat a wide range of conditions. My prior background and expertise in physical treatments, gives me a unique ability to know how best to treat both mind and body, such as to help people stop smoking, adopt a healthier lifestyle, improve their diet, start and enjoy exercise, getting over anxieties and so much more. The bespoke service I offer is a total holistic approach for mind and body, quite different to other therapists. One of the most rewarding things about this job is when a client tells me that their therapy has been life-changing.

What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnosis is a state of altered awareness during which our subconscious mind is more open and receptive to suggestions that are given. We naturally do this many times a day as we drift in and out of different levels of awareness, for example we get absorbed in thoughts and realise time has flown by or we go on a familiar journey and we arrive not knowing quite how we got there because we were absorbing information on a subliminal level as well as consciously. Hypnotherapy is a type of therapy where new and positive ways of thinking are introduced to your subconscious mind whilst under hypnosis.
